zweigleisig offers something new in Duesseldorf, a sophisticated twist on the traditional japanese izakaya style of informal eating and drinking. Our chefs are developing creative menus -Asian inspired dishes with European cuisine- to attract guests who want to experience complex flavors in a sophisticated, relaxed and vibrant atmosphere.



The centre piece of the restaurant is a Japanese Robata Grill. Robataya refers to a method of cooking, similar to barbecue, in which items of food on skewers are slow-grilled over hot charcoal.
Small plate menus enable diners to sample the menu and share their food experience.

The subterranean lounge Abstellgleis features a bar and luxurious upholstered seating; you can find the perfect location to tuck into a seat and enjoy your drink.

The provocative drinks menu features classic as well as creative cocktails, complemented by a diverse liquor program with an extensive assortment of whisky and rum varieties.
Dining from our restaurant > ZWEIGLEISIG Menu is available as well - in chilled atmosphere until 9pm.
